Note: Minimum 100 Pallets
Pallet racking industry has gone through incredible changes with the passage of time as the demand and requirement for effective storage due to high cost of land and construction of warehouses.
With constant increase in the height of warehouses racking systems have been developed to reach 15mts in height. Special equipment is required to work at this height. Such systems must have a very high level of accuracy during manufacturing and operations.
VNA systems are designed around operating tolerances with aisle marginally wider than the load that requires storing. The space separating parallel racks is greatly reduced to1850mm as compared to conventional MHE, which would require 2500 mm upto 4500mm depending on the type of machine used. VNA machines place and retrieve the pallet using a side loading forks. This helps in reducing the size of the aisle between racks by 40%.
With this advancement in MHE technology and manufacturing technology for racks, it has made possible the reduction in floor space usage there by reducing the cost of warehousing.
VNA racking gives 100% selectivity, assuring good stock rotation, uncompromised access to stock and maximization in product storage. It is a very effective method of increasing pallet storage within a given area.
The main advantage of VNA pallet racking is the combination of fast order picking and best possible use of space. VNA solution is used in a variety of industries where warehousing space is limited. Adjustable pallet racking gives maximum flexibility and it can be worked with either a Man-up or Man-Down machine for convenient pallet storage and retrieval for fast order picking straight from the pallet.
Very narrow aisle racking system is often used with automated equipment guided by wire or rail, or with computerized cranes in combination with a competent warehouse management system.
Benefits of very narrow aisle racking
- 100% accessibility to individual pallets
- Cost of highly automated equipment offset by added value of improved space utilization
- Lower occupancy rates per pallet stored
- Best configuration for maximum storage, density and efficiency
- Better utilization of space
